1. V.N.S.G.Uni. Kabaddi, Competition was organized in the college Campus. (12/09/2011).
2. Italiya Dipika Participated in High Jump Competition at state Level.

We have purchased licensed anti-virus software to protect computers against attack.

6.  Governance, Leadership and Management

6.1 State the Vision and Mission of the institution

 The vision of the college is: 

To Work for the upliftment of women through quality education and value-orientation, to inculcate progressive thinking and to contribute to social welfare with a sense of individual strength and social responsibility.
The mission of the college is;
To provide a disciplined environment where teaching and learning can be done effectively.
To encourage personal growth and self – assessment through quality education. 
To ensure equitable distribution of knowledge through the adoption of regional language as the medium of education. 
To develop national spirit through practical education and community service.

The Motto

      The motto of the institution is “Tejasvi Na Vadhitamastu” which means “ From Darkness to Light”. The emblem consists of an open book with a flame at the centre signifying illumination, honesty and sincerity. It also consists of a lotus in full bloom symbolising purity of thought and action. The rays of the sun at the centre stand for broadening of knowledge. The primary objective of our institution is to develop the basic skills, character, personality and leadership, as well as social aptitude, environmental awareness and value orientation among the learners, that are very much wanting in the context of increasing value degradation and self-centeredness in the present day global society. Infrastructural facilities in the college were also greatly augmented in our college to keep pace with academic growth.

                           The curricula are designed by the board of studies of the university and circulated among the affiliated

                           colleges for implementation. Some of the teachers in our college are members of the Board of the

                           studies and thereby contribute in their respective subjects.

                    6.3.2   Teaching and Learning
                          The faculties are teaching through lecture method and try to make students more interactive by way real life examples. Audio-visual technique of technique of teaching is adapted for which each class is equipped with LCD projectors.
                    6.3.3   Examination and Evaluation
                          The continuous evaluation is done through internal examination, assignment and regular attendance in the class. The final examination and evaluation is conducted by the university.
                    6.3.4   Research and Development
                          Full support and guidance is provided to all faculty members to pursue their Doctoral study or undertaing minor research programme.
                    6.3.5   Library, ICT and physical infrastructure / instrumentation
                           Library has installed SOUL software from INFLIBNET.
                           Seminar hall & computer lab have LCD Projector for student-teacher interactive session. 
                           Every classroom has CCTV Camera.

          • RO water-plant is installed to cater to the need of clean drinking water. It was decided to pay Scholarship through Bank Account.
          • Microphone system was introduced in all classrooms to facilitate learning.
